Carla Tomaras is a Producer and Production Designer working across independent short and feature films, Television, Music Videos, and editorial/campaign shoots, as well as working with Aria Award Winning Artists, the ABC and displaying her work to screenings, advertisement and festivals globally. Carla corroborates a media communications background with a keen eye for set building, prop design, and art and creative direction, Carla has a strong relationship with her on set experience, and thrives to create a positive space for those around her, to enjoy making art and continue telling stories with her friends and loved ones.

Carla’s creative practice is deeply informed by a lifelong connection to music. As both an avid listener and active participant in music culture, she understands the emotional, rhythmic, and visual language that sound inspires. This connection has naturally shaped her strong affinity for music video production, where storytelling, design, performance, and atmosphere intersect.

Carla is also a vocal teacher at ARIA Vocal Academy, a role she deeply values. She is passionate about nurturing confidence, creativity, and self-expression in her students, and finds great fulfilment in supporting developing artists as they grow their skills and connect with themselves.
